Art Festival Theme: Door

CICAF continues to uphold its mission of promoting and nurturing children’s artistic potential and appreciation for art in a global context through this year’s Art Festival.

This year’s festival theme is “Door, inspires youth to discover poetry and warmth in daily life while exploring human connections, urban relationships, and our environmental surroundings through art. The competition encompasses diverse creative disciplines, including painting, music, dance, film, and science & technology. Our festival features artwork and performances from children aged seventeen and under from all over the world. This year’s competition also includes categories that feature painting, calligraphy, music, recitation, fairy tales, dance, film and television, children’s drama, science and technology.

We are proud to announce that this event has garnered unwavering support from various levels of government, further solidifying our commitment to empowering young artists and fostering a sustainable world for generations to come.

Art Exhibition

The Art Exhibition is about to grandly open at Toronto City Hall. Inspired by the theme “Street Corners,” the exhibition brings together a rich collection of paintings, photography, and installation art. It invites the audience to step into those overlooked yet story-filled moments found throughout the city.

Located in the heart of downtown, Toronto City Hall is a landmark known for its distinctive shell-like shape. It features two curved towers wrapping around the dome-shaped Council Chamber. Open to the public free of charge, it welcomes thousands of local residents and international tourists every day. This year, the exceptional winning works from the 24th Canada International Children’s Art Festival Fine Arts Competition will be proudly showcased here.
